  • Grief is hard and I tell you, the beauty of these portable and unique ash in glass memorials are something that brings me comfort in a way I can barely explain. I have one which contains both my parents. Then, this year when my son’s cat passed Brandon created the most incredible marble and pendant resembling our kitty’s mystical blue eyes. My son had tears as he looked at these gorgeous creations, and has not taken the pendant off since. I’m simply grateful for the ability to have something that can travel with me no matter where I go.   • I lost my dog back in December and I was really struggling to find an urn or something that didn’t feel mass manufactured. I came across Brandons art through a news post shared on instagram. After speaking with him I just knew it was the unique piece I was looking for, and I felt at peace knowing that his ashes would be taken care of with Brandon. His communicating is very clear, and he held space for me while I learned to grieve, he allowed me to share who my dog was. I gave him a few colours to work with, but as someone who is highly indecisive I knew he was the artist, I wanted him to create a piece that felt true to him based off of the stories I shared with him. I have carried my stone with me everywhere since I received it, and have worn my necklace everyday.

  • My brother, Kirk, passed away years ago at the young age of 60:(. I wanted a way to keep his memory alive with my sisters, and to celebrate the brother that we loved. When I met Brandon and learned of Phoenix Ash Memorials, I knew that he was the answer to what I wanted. Brandon listen to the story of my brother and set about making the memorial pendants for the three of us. He asked about the colours we wanted, and wanted to know a little more about my brother. I told him that Kirk loved jazz music and asked him to play a little Louis, Ella or Duke while he was creating the glass artwork!   • I first knew of Brandon's work when I saw a news article mentioning his work, which was new to me. I followed this up and he contacted me to ascertain what I was interested in having him work on. We talked for a while and I chose a glass ball with a star scape design incorporating some ashes of my deceased wife. Within a short while he was able to produce a memento which contained a sample of her ashes melded into a star burst of exquisite beauty which I now have mounted on my fireplace mantle. A suitable reminder of her own artistic abilities.

  • I can't say enough on how much of an absolute pleasure it was working with Brandon! I told him, all the things I could think of that would be important about my dog. I gave him creative control with the piece that he made for me!   • I’ve known Brandon for a while for his glass blowing, as my partner owns many pieces that he has made. I knew I had to have Brandon make a pendant for me when the time came for my Bella. Brandon did an amazing job at incorporating every element I wanted when he made the pendant. He was able to include lots of opal which was her birthstone.
