Glass memorials offer a meaningful way to honor and remember a lost loved one. They are created by encasing cremated ashes from a person or animal in molten glass.
The inspiration for offering these came from people who reached out me to make something they could keep with them. These memorials can be crafted into marbles for display or personal carrying, as well as pendants or bracelets for wearing.
Glass is beautiful and everlasting, these memorials can be passed down for generations if taken care of. Each piece is entirely unique, reflecting the individuality of the loved one it commemorates.

To begin, please send a message via this website, email, or social media describing the type of memorial you would like. We’ll discuss colors and ways to make it meaningful. You can mail the ashes to me or drop them off at your convenience. Generally, the memorial will be completed within 2-3 weeks. I accept payment via cash, e-transfer, or credit card.

I work with all types of ash remains, whether from people, cats, dogs, birds, or farm animals. I'm also interested in creating memorials using locks of hair, so feel free to reach out if you're looking for something unique like that!

This is completely understandable. If you have a friend or neighbor who may be willing to assist, don’t hesitate to ask—they’ll likely empathize and be happy to help. Alternatively, I recommend reaching out to someone at a crematorium for assistance. I’m also happy to assist in any way I can.

The photos I take can make the memorials appear very large even though they fit into your hand or pocket. This is to show the incredible detail that can be seen when you peer into them.
There are many variables throughout the process that change the way a memorial ends up looking.
The way the glass flows, is twisted, smushed or manipulated.
Some glass colors yield different results depending on how they are worked. I do my very best to be intentional with the colors I choose based on what I have available and what the inspiration is.
The amount of clear glass used for the lens can greatly changed the way a design magnifies and looks.

The memorials are crafted from a durable glass known as borosilicate, which, when properly annealed, is exceptionally strong. It is highly resistant to scratches and can withstand temperature fluctuations. However, like all glass, it may break if subjected to significant impact against a hard surface.

Any ash that is remaining after the order is made will be returned to you with the memorials. If requested, I can scatter the ash in nature, respectfully and with permission of the land owner.

I approach this work with the utmost seriousness, viewing it as a deeply spiritual process. Every memorial I create is treated with the highest level of respect and care. Upon arrival at my studio, clients' ashes are carefully labeled and organized. I work with only one set of ashes at a time, ensuring the integrity of each piece, and all tools are thoroughly cleaned between the creation of each keepsake.

Yes, I work with clients across Canada and internationally. When shipping ashes, documentation from the crematorium is required. This can be as simple as a note accompanied by a business card and contact information.
